Choose a sun tea container

  • The container you use to make this tea must be made of glass and must also be transparent.
    The container should not contain any kind of sticker as the sticker can block the sun’s rays from entering. So you have to use a container that is transparent.
    Choose a container to make this tea that is easy to clean Do not use any utensils that may contain bacteria.
    Do not use plastic containers, the chemicals present in plastic can mix with the water, which can affect the taste of the tea and can also be a health hazard.

Clean the container

  • Wash the container thoroughly. Use soap and warm water to wash the container. The container must be thoroughly cleaned. Before making tea, make sure that your container is completely clean or not. Always use a clean container.

Fill the container with 4 cups of cold water

  • Do not use ordinary water, you can use distilled water to make this tea to prevent the growth of bacteria.
    You can buy distilled water from your nearest store. You can also use bottled spring water to make this tea.

Add five teabags

  • You can make this recipe with any type of tea, you can use black tea, green tea or any herbal tea that you like to drink.
    Use 5 tea bags in this tea recipe, if you like to drink strong tea then you can use more than 5 tea bags.
    If the tea has become too strong, you can always dilute it with more water to reduce the strength of the tea.

Place the container in direct sunlight for 3-5 hours

Remove the teabags

Serve the sun tea
